Welcome to National Foundation for Olympiads (NFO)
About us:
NFO is a statutory body that conducts Olympiads for Science, Maths, English and Social Studies twice in a year in 121 schools across 47 cites pan India. NFO has its registered office at Talwandi Circle, Kota and has branch offices in New Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, etc.
Why Olympiads:
Certificates provided by NFO for qualifying in its Olympiad exams gives a student a patent competitive edge over his peers. When a student appears in any job interview in his life, the certificates provided by NFO augments his profile.
The examination schedule:
Olympiads take place twice in a year, once in April and once in September.
Subjects on which Olympiads are conducted: English, Science, Maths, Social Studies, Computer.
The question paper structure:
25 MCQs each carrying four marks for each subject.
Subject combination:
An aspirant can appear in one subject, two subjects or all the five subjects.
Fees: Rs. 300/- per subject
Prizes:
From each class, three students are chosen for 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize respectively. However, all the students are given certificates of participation.
Eligibility: Students studying in classes V to X are eligible to appear in the exams.
